Business Development Manager/Sales Executive Manned Guarding/Security
West London/Middlesex (mainly field based)
£25,000 - £30,000 Basic (OTE £50,000+) Plus Car, Phone
Are you a proven sales professional with a manned guarding background and experience of working for an SIA approved company? If so, this could be the role for you.
Our client is a rapidly growing security company specialising in manned guarding. Currently in their start-up stage, they re aiming to become the industry\'s leader. An opportunity has now arisen for a Business Development Manager/Sales Executive to join their team.
This is the ideal role for an entrepreneurial security sales professional looking to join a hugely ambitious company that\'s already making a name for them within the security industry, having achieved SIA Approved Contractor, ISO 9001/2008 and Safe Contractor status.
As a Business Development Manager/Sales Executive you\'ll be tasked with selling the company\'s manned guarding services to companies throughout the UK. You\'ll spend 70% of your time out of the office and will be based in one of the company\'s West London offices.
Day to day, your role will focus on developing new business relationships, as well as presenting the services to potential clients through face-to-face communication, emails and by telephone.
You will also:
- Be responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting
- Actively manage the entire sales process
- Create and be accountable for client proposals and contracts
To be considered for this position you must have proven sales experience gained within the manned guarding security industry, having worked for an SIA approved company.
You must also have experience completing tender proposals and PQQs, with knowledge of how to prepare a quotation using the company\'s costing model.
As a Business Development Manager/Sales Executive you should also be an excellent communicator with a professional manner, a polished appearance the right attitude needed to work to targets and deadlines. A good level of IT literacy and an exceptional telephone manner is also required.
