Job Description
This role requires an experienced childcare professional to deliver the childcare and education needs across a cluster of nurseries.
You will be responsible for advising, supporting and training individual childcare practitioners including nursery managers and staff teams in order to develop and maintain high quality care and education practice within the settings to meet the needs of children and their families and to ensure that settings exceed the minimum standards required by Ofsted with an ultimate focus at achieving outstanding results.
Ensure that all children attending settings receive rich stimulating experiences reflective of the EYFS. You must be focused on being able to provide inclusive practice.
Develop and deliver training to all nursery staff related to childcare and education research and practice.
Support staff teams to work in partnership with parents and external agencies. Monitor and evaluate the quality of childcare and education within the settings and identify areas needing development, assist Managers and Staff to action plan and provide support and training as appropriate to ensure that quality is improved.
Support the nursery manager in delivering a service which is reflective of the best possible practice, providing outstanding customer services to all service users.
Provide support and advice to Nursery Managers to ensure their compliance with the legislation and regulations relating to Health and Safety and services for children Under Eights Daycare
Establish, develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority Departments, OFSTED and other agencies
Participate in Disciplinary and Grievance investigations and meetings as required, where childcare standards or child protection issues are involved.
To audit and evaluate key areas of development, policy implementation and risk management and to ensure that any remedial action is taken immediately.
