Our client is currently the largest national Provider of Offender Learning in the UK; their highly qualified employees are fully trained in security arrangements in order for them to deliver a responsive curriculum within prisons across England 52 weeks a year.

The aim of the Directorate is to lead, manage and develop provision in order to reduce re-offending and contribute to social inclusion by providing a wealth of curricula experiences including a core curriculum of Skills for Life, Personal and Social Development and work related training.

They have the following permanent vacancies within the South East Region at HMP Send, Woking, Surrey

OLASS Manager (Offender Learning and Skills Service Manager) Full Time £31,450 - £43,450

As directed by Operations / Regional Manager, to plan strategically for the development of the provision within the establishment, in line with the OL strategy. Meet the establishment’s contract, quality and financial targets, in line with company policies and procedures. Proactively manage partnership relationships with stakeholders.

Trainer (Horticulture) Full Time £22,450 - £28,450

As directed by a manager or Curriculum Team Leader, to deliver high quality, learner focused vocational training to meet contractual requirements and Awarding Body standards, in line with company policies and procedure.

Our client is also seeking Sessional Tutor and Sessional Trainer applications in subject areas including, but not limited to Business Enterprise, ICT, Literacy & Numeracy, Social & Life Skills, Art, Preparation for Work, ESOL, Learning & Support, Customer Care, Barbering & Hairdressing, Construction, Motor Mechanics, Industrial Cleaning, and Hospitality & Catering.

To succeed within these roles, candidates will need to have a pragmatic and non judgmental approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.

Please note that all salaries specified are the full time salaries and any part-time (fractional) roles will have the appropriate pro-rata salary. All salaries specified are un-inclusive of the additional 7% to account for London Weighting.
