Our client is an independent IT company formed in 1990 and has evolved into one of the UK's leading providers of secure, available and scalable IT infrastructure solutions to private and public sector organisations. You will act as an internal contact for customer and the Company’s personnel wishing to receive pre or post sales information, pricing, place orders and need query resolution. You must liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery timescales etc. You are expected to contribute to growth of the software business, therefore must exhibit pro-active selling skills.
You will identify software opportunities that will achieve revenue for the Company, work closely with Sales colleagues to ensure the highest level of service is given to all customers, assist in developing, following up and closing new business opportunities and assist in administering license agreements by producing software management reports and price lists monthly.
You must have a strong sales background and be advances in the use of Microsoft Office. Some understanding of Software and licensing agreements is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Ideally you will have MCS (Microsoft Certified Sales Specialist) and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Sales Expert). You will be required at some point in this position to sit the Microsoft Certified Professionals exam (if you have not already done so).
Our client offers outstanding future development for its staff. This role in time may progress into an External Sales position if you wished with full training being given. The Company will invest in any future Microsoft Certified Exams to assist you in your career path.
