Our client has been selling Datacoms and Networking equipment and solutions since 1993. Their products and services are geared towards enabling their reseller customers to benefit from the exciting opportunities brought about by high bandwidth Internet access. Today, their business is focussed on serving their growing number of customers from small network resellers right up to some of the largest ISP System Integrators and Telcos in the UK. An existing opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to take up the role of Business Development Manager.
The Role:
* The generation of new (VOIP) prospects and account managing those prospects from the start of the sales cycle through to the post-sales operations
* Look after a small number of assigned existing customers / accounts and develop and increase these accounts accordingly
* Contribute to developing new area’s of business both by selecting and developing a good commercial relationship with existing and new suppliers of VOIP products
Skills:
* A good knowledge of the ‘Voice/VOIP’ marketplace with an understanding of products application and potential customers and the networking and communication market
* Knowledge of channels required to develop business – particularly for ‘Voice and VOIP’ solutions
* The ideal candidate will have some technical qualifications – preferably to a minimum of HNC/HND level
* Minimum three years of direct selling
