This company is looking for a dynamic, ambitious, commercial individuals to join its business accounting consultancy. Due to a growing client base, they are looking for qualified financial controllers who have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation and can translate numbers into meaningful business information.

Requirements
Excellent communication skills
Preferably qualified - CIMA, ACA or ACCA with one or two years post qualified experience
Good level of IT literacy, especially within MS Excel
Able to demonstrate a high level of effective time management skills, and have the ability to work to deadlines
Resourceful, enthusiastic and able to use own initiative
Self-disciplined
At least 2 years commercial experience

Responsibilities

Manage Client relations
Daily running of client finance department
Review of monthly management accounts
Identification of key performance indicators
Preparation of budget and determination of budget assumptions
Preparation of profit and cash-flow forecasts
Review of VAT returns
System implementation
Year end file preparation and monthly validation of balance-sheet
Support corporate finance projects – due diligence and acquisitions

The person

You will be a confident outgoing individual. You will relish the commercial side of accounting, understanding what the cost and profit drivers are behind the numbers and then be able to communicate the implications of these to your client in a clear and simple manner.

You will be able to multi-task and prioritise and may have already worked at some stage within a consulting environment. Flexibility is a key quality and you will be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment around you.
