Our client is a well established non-profit organisation, opening a brand new registered nursing and residential home in Windsor, Berkshire that will provide quality care and accommodation for older people. They are currently recruiting care assistants for day and night positions to join their growing team.
The role:
To provide personal care to residents
T promote residents’ independence
To contribute to the care planning process, including writing, updating and reviewing of care plans
To attend staff meeting
To liaise with the Team Leaders and management
To undergo on-going training and development
Requirements:
Understanding of the needs of elderly people
Previous care experience is desirable however not essential as training will be provided for the right candidates
Good verbal and written communication skills
The ability to use own initiative and as part of the team
Caring and empathetic attitude
Willingness to learn new skills
The ability to work shifts, including some weekends and bank holidays
